Playstation Studios CEO Hermen Hulst said in a Q&A on the official Playstation Blog that it is not guaranteed that the upcoming Playstation 5 game Horizon Forbidden West will be released in 2021 as previously planned.
“We think we are on track to release this holiday season. But that isn’t quite certain yet, and we’re working as hard as we can to confirm that to you as soon as we can.”
The game is the long-awaited sequel to the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn that was released back in 2017, and the story continues six months after the events of Horizon Zero Dawn. Guerrilla Games recently revealed 14 minutes of gameplay that you can check out below.
He also made clear that another big game for Playstation 5, God of War: Ragnarök will be released in 2022.
